Jane MacGillivray

Jane MacGillivray has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Jane started their career as a Research Assistant at the Schulich School of Engineering in 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Curriculum Coordinator and Camp Instructor at Geering Up UBC Engineering & Science for Kids, where they developed software projects and curriculum for coding camps and taught coding fundamentals to students of various ages. Jane then interned at GE Digital as a Software Developer Intern in 2017 and at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer Intern in 2018. Since 2019, Jane has been working at Harry's, Inc. Jane started as a Software Engineer, Services and gradually progressed to roles such as Senior Software Engineer, Staff Engineer, and currently holds the position of Engineering Manager, Services.

Jane MacGillivray completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Computer Engineering from The University of British Columbia from 2014 to 2019. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at Columbia University from 2020 to 2021, where they completed the Graduate Foundations Program.
