Connor Auch

Connor Auch has a diverse range of work experience. Connor worked as an Outside Sales Representative at Hartfiel Automation starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they were an Applications Programmer/Estimator at Interstates from April 2018 to October 2022, where they created pricing sheets, scope letters, and proposals for various projects. Connor also gained experience in programming transmitters, automating sequences, and designing communication drawings. Before Interstates, Connor was a Mechatronics Engineer Intern at Dakota Fluid Power from October 2017 to July 2022, where they designed, created, and tested products integrating electrical, mechanical, and hydraulics aspects. Connor also gained hands-on experience in building electrical equipment and troubleshooting. Connor obtained their Mechatronics certification from Southeast Technical Institute from August 2017 to July 2022. In addition, they served as a Near Peer Mentor at Lakeland High School from August 2016 to July 2022, where they implemented a mentorship program and provided guidance on college grants and loans. Some of their earlier experiences include being a Water Front Director at Camp Fire Inland Northwest in the summer of 2015, where they ensured a safe environment for swimming activities and created unique swim lessons. Connor also worked as a Lifeguard at Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation from May 2014 to June 2015, enforcing safety regulations and responding to emergencies. Additionally, Connor worked as a Direct Support Professional at LifeScape from September 2014 to May 2015, providing care and support for individuals with traumatic brain injuries, including medication management, behavior management, cooking, and maintaining a positive environment.

Connor Auch began their education at Harrisburg High School from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained their General Educational Development (GED) in General Studies. After completing their high school education, they attended Augustana University (SD) from 2012 to 2016. At Augustana University, they earned a Bachelor's degree in International Studies, with a focus on Government & French. Following their undergraduate studies, from 2017 to 2019, Connor attended Southeast Technical Institute, where they obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering. In addition to their formal education, in April 2014, Connor Auch also received CPR certification from the American Red Cross.
