Cristina Tamasdan has extensive experience in the field of medicine, particularly in pain management and internal medicine. Currently serving as the Director of Pain Management at Hartford HealthCare since October 2019, Cristina also holds the position of Chairperson of Internal Medicine on an interim basis. In addition, Cristina has been an MD and Medical Director of Pain Management at St. Vincent's Health Services since 2008, where Cristina has also served as Vice Chair of Internal Medicine and Interim Chairperson of the Internal Medicine Department. As an Associate Professor at Quinnipiac University, Cristina chairs the Internal Medicine department, and previously held the role of Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine. Cristina's training includes a Clinical Research Fellowship at Weill Cornell Medicine and a Fellowship in Pain Management at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, complemented by internal medicine residency training at Yale New Haven Health and UPMC. Cristina completed medical education at Grigore T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy Iași, earning an MD in 2006.
