Kathleen Ferencz

Kathleen Ferencz, MBA, RPh, currently holds the position of Pharmacist II at Hartford HealthCare, focusing on drug diversion prevention monitoring since April 2023. Previously, Kathleen served as a Drug Diversion Specialist at Trexin Consulting from January 2023 to October 2023 and dedicated over 36 years to Yale New Haven Hospital, where roles included Supervisor of Pharmacy Automation and Technology and Drug Diversion Prevention, Coordinator of Pharmacy Automation and Technology, and Manager of Pharmacy Operations. Kathleen's extensive experience encompasses project management for drug diversion software implementation, collaboration with vendors, investigation of drug diversion cases, and enhancement of medication delivery systems. Both an active contributor to various drug diversion and COVID-19 teams and an educator for multidisciplinary groups, Kathleen has played a pivotal role in advancing pharmacy practices while ensuring compliance with health regulations. Kathleen earned an MBA in Health/Health Care Administration from the University of New Haven and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Rhode Island.
