Board of Directors

The current board of directors at the Hartford Symphony Orchestra have a long and varied history with music. The director, Linda Beers, has been running her own violin studio for many years and was previously a strings teacher and orchestra director at Simsbury Public Schools. She holds a performance degree from the Longy School of Music on the violin. Another board member, education chair Mary Lee Talbot, holds a music degree from Wellesley College.
