Valerie Richardson, MBA, MA has over 19 years of experience in various leadership roles. Valerie recently joined HARTING as the Sr. Director of Market Development/Vertical Markets. Prior to that, they worked at Colson Group as the Vice President of Global Market Development/Global Medical Vertical Market. Valerie was responsible for transforming the customer-facing part of the business and implementing strategic marketing initiatives. Before Colson Group, they served as the Vice President of Global Industry Sector at Asea Brown Boveri, where they successfully grew the data center vertical. Valerie also held leadership positions at Leica Geosystems and Invensys, where they focused on strategic marketing and developing vertical markets. Overall, Valerie has a strong background in market development, strategic marketing, and product management.

Valerie also has an MA in Psychology - Industrial and Organizational from Drake University and a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications, also from Drake University. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Project Management and Executive Leadership from Cornell University, with anticipated completion in 2023.
