William A. Hartt

William A. Hartt joined Hartt Transportation Systems as a teenager, learning the basics of trucking from his dad and founder, Delmont E. Hartt. In June 1981, Billy began his full-time career as a Dispatcher. Mr. Hartt’s quick wit, intuitive nature and tenacity provided him with the tools to move quickly through the ranks from Operations Manager to President in 1996. During his tenure the company has grown ten-fold, added several terminals to include a state-of-the-art facility in Auburn, Maine, doubled their service territory and added a successful Brokerage Division. However, William feels his biggest accomplishment is the team of Transportation Professionals he put together – “Team Hartt”.
