Anna Thomsen

Anna Thomsen has a strong background in finance and venture capital, with significant experience in leadership roles. Thomsen served as Partner at Atomico from October 2022 to March 2024, following a tenure as UK Fundraising Director at Africa Foundation.org from May 2020 to October 2022. Prior to these roles, Thomsen was Head of Investor Relations at Balderton Capital, focusing on early-stage investments in technology companies, and held the position of Director at Paulson & Co. from June 2011 to October 2016. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in International Relations & Linguistics from Stanford University. Additionally, Thomsen contributed to the Harvard Business School community as the Alumnae Circles Regional Chair in London and as a Board Member of the HBS Alumni Board.
