Benjamine Liu

Benjamine Liu is the CEO and Co-founder of Formation Bio since 2014, focused on accelerating the delivery of new treatments to patients. Benjamine serves as an advisor for the MS/MBA Biotech Program at Harvard Business School since August 2021. Previous experience includes working as a Computational Biologist at the Translational Neuroscience and Dementia Research Group, where Benjamine utilized machine learning and omics for diagnostic advancements in neurodegenerative diseases and developed novel biomarker discovery methods. Benjamine also contributed to biomarker research for Parkinson’s disease at the Chen-Ploktin Lab and conducted executive control research during undergraduate studies. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Computational Biology and Psychiatry from the University of Oxford and a Master of Philosophy in Computational Biology from the University of Cambridge, among other academic accomplishments.
