Johannes Paefgen

Johannes Paefgen is an accomplished professional currently serving as the General Manager for ICT, LLC, a joint venture between Hilti and Trimble, since May 2024. Prior to this role, Johannes held several mentoring positions at Harvard Business School, Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, and BOOST, along with co-chairing the Boston Chapter of The Society for Construction Solutions from October 2022 to May 2024. Johannes has extensive experience at Hilti, including a tenure as Senior Vice President and Head of Development, leading international teams and overseeing a portfolio of software and IoT solutions. Johannes completed a Master of Science in Dynamic Systems and Controls Engineering at ETH Zürich, a PhD focusing on Machine Learning Methods for Insurance Risk Assessment at the University of St.Gallen, and additional studies at MIT and The London School of Economics.
