Thara Pillai

Thara Pillai is an experienced professional in entrepreneurship and alumni engagement, having held key positions at prestigious institutions. At Harvard Business School, Thara served as Director and Associate Director of the HBS Rock Center for Entrepreneurship from September 2017 to May 2019. Currently, Thara is an Advisor at Echo Labs and the Director of Alumni Entrepreneurship & Engagement at Harvard Innovation Labs, leading the Launch Lab X, a global virtual accelerator for Harvard alumni founders. Additionally, Thara was a Board Member at TiE Boston from March 2018 to February 2022. Thara holds an Executive MBA in Media & Telecommunications from the University of St. Gallen and a Master of Journalism with a focus on Broadcast Journalism from Carleton University.
