Zoe Yu is an experienced essayist at NBC News since February 2019, contributing insights on culture, politics, and education to various prominent publications including TIME Magazine and CNN Opinion. Currently serving as the Deputy Director of Organizing & Special Projects at the Institute of Politics at Harvard Kennedy School, Zoe is focused on building a social impact startup incubator. Additional experience includes an internship with the White House Initiative on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders, and a creative development internship at Janet Yang Productions, where Zoe worked on script coverage and adaptations of underrepresented stories. Previously, Zoe held a congressional internship with the U.S. House of Representatives and is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree at Harvard University, set to graduate in 2026.
