Marie Nicolini

Marie Nicolini, MD PhD, is currently serving as a Joint Fellow-in-Residence at the Harvard Safra Center for Ethics and the HMS Center for Bioethics since September 2024. Previously, Marie held the position of Research Foundation Flanders Fellow and Senior Researcher at KU Leuven from November 2021 to August 2024. Additional experience includes a role as a Visiting Scholar at Georgetown University from August 2022 to August 2023 and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health from September 2018 to September 2021. Marie also served as a Visiting Scholar at Georgetown University in 2017 and completed a Psychiatry Residency at KU Leuven from July 2012 to July 2017. Academic credentials include a PhD in Bioethics attained at KU Leuven from 2018 to 2021, an MSc in Erasmus Mundus Master of Bioethics from 2012 to 2014, an MD from 2008 to 2012, and a Bachelor Degree in Medicine from 2005 to 2008.
