Tom van Orman

Tom Van Orman has a strong background in operations and finance. Tom started their career as Controller at Sysco in 1986 and later became Vice President of Finance/CFO. Tom then worked as Division General Manager at Waste Management, Inc. before moving on to be Corporate Controller at Philip M. Bell. Tom returned to Sysco as Vice President of Operations and held various roles including Regional VP of Operations, Division President, and VP of Performance Optimization - Operations. Most recently, they worked at US Foods as Regional VP of Operations - West before joining Harvest Sherwood Food Distributors as SVP of Operations in 2023.

Tom Van Orman earned their BBA in Management & Accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1984. Tom then pursued their MBA in Finance from Texas A&M University, completing it in 1986.
