Brian Burns

Brian Burns is an experienced recruiting professional currently serving as a Member of Recruiting Staff at Harvey since November 2022, where responsibilities include talent acquisition and recruitment. Previously, Brian worked as an Outside Recruiter, focusing on engineering talent through AI Pub's Talent Network. As the founder and writer at AI Pub from September 2022 to June 2023, Brian highlighted AI research topics and engaged in recruiting. In addition to these roles, Brian operated Burns ML, LLC as an engineer and consultant specializing in computer vision and machine learning, while also serving as a part-time scientific consultant at Swift Ventures. Brian pursued a PhD in Statistics with a focus on machine learning at the University of Washington, completing coursework until June 2022. Brian holds a BA in Mathematics with Honors from the University of Chicago.
