Shawn Farsai

Shawn Farsai is a versatile professional with experience in software engineering, product management, and design. Currently serving as Brand & Design Lead at Harvey since September 2023, Shawn was the first frontend/design hire and engages in a variety of projects. Prior to that role, Shawn worked at Scale AI from February 2021 to September 2023 as a Software Engineer, where key contributions included building ScaleUI and tackling high-priority frontend projects. Shawn also held the position of Product Manager at Scale AI, focusing on operational efficiency and new task types. At Weedmaps, from March 2019 to February 2021, Shawn managed the Listings Team while also working as a Front End Software Engineer, contributing to the development of a large-scale cannabis e-commerce platform. Earlier experience includes working as a Software Engineer at Verys and as a researcher at UC Irvine, where Shawn studied the intersection of representation theory and quantum mechanics. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from UC Irvine, with proficiency in Javascript, React, Next.js, MobX, Styled Components, and Flow.
