Daan Jochem Groot

Daan Jochem Groot is a highly experienced professional currently serving as the Managing Director at Nature^Squared since October 2012. Additionally, Daan holds the positions of Lector Verdienvermogen voor Natuurinclusieve Landbouw/Business Models for Regenerative Agriculture and Lector "Innovatief Ondernemen met Natuur"​ / Professor "Innovative Business Models for Nature" at HAS Hogeschool since January 2017. Daan is also a member of the Advisory Panel for the Capitals Coalition since January 2021. Previous roles include Lecturer at the University of Amsterdam from August 2008 to June 2009 and Consultant at Deloitte from December 2005 to June 2009. Daan earned a Master of Science in International Relations from the University of Amsterdam (2010-2012) and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the same institution (2004-2008), along with completing Gymnasium at Kalsbeek (1998-2004).
