Ashley Giles

Ashley Giles is a seasoned Chartered British Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney, currently serving as a Partner at Haseltine Lake Kempner since May 2019, following a long tenure at Haseltine Lake LLP from October 1988 to May 2019. With extensive experience supporting SMEs and corporate clients across the UK, Europe, China, and the USA, Ashley specializes in sectors including automotive, aerospace, biomedical, medical devices, alternative energy, waste processing, oil and gas, and civil engineering/construction. Additionally, Ashley was a Partner at Boltwood Park Farm from January 1998 to August 2012, contributing to its operation as a nature reserve and organic farm. Earlier academic roles included serving as a Lecturer and lab supervisor at the University of Bristol's Civil Engineering Department, after earning BEng and MSc degrees in Civil Engineering/Hydraulics at the same institution, as well as a Master of Engineering from Eastbourne College.
