Lucas Santana

Lucas Santana started their work experience in 2019 at CGG as a Geophysicist I. Lucas then advanced to the position of Geophysicist II before leaving the company in September 2021. In 2021, Lucas joined Hashdex as a Research Analyst, conducting extensive research on cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum, as well as emerging scaling solutions. Lucas has proficiency in various on-chain analysis platforms and can integrate and build dashboards using APIs available in the crypto ecosystem.

Lucas Santana completed their education at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Lucas obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from 2013 to 2016. Lucas Santana then pursued further studies and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from 2017 to 2023. In addition to their formal education, Lucas Santana also acquired several certifications from DataCamp. Lucas obtained certifications in various subjects such as Parallel Programming in R, Intro to SQL for Data Science, Cluster Analysis in R, Correlation and Regression, Exploratory Data Analysis, and Supervised Learning in R: Classification, all in the year 2019.
