John Simone

John Simone is an experienced technology executive currently serving as the VP of Engineering - Cloud Services at HashiCorp since December 2019. Prior to this role, John held various positions at Heroku from November 2010 to December 2019, including VP of Software Engineering and Director of Engineering. John also worked at Cablevision as a Software Engineer, where contributions were made to the set-top box API division. As Director of Client Technologies at The Octillion Group, John was involved in estimating, designing, and developing new projects. At Delta Financial, John served as Lead Architect and Director of Application Development, overseeing a large team and ensuring system reliability for the loan origination system. Earlier in John's career, a consulting role was held at Accenture from July 2003 to April 2006. John holds a BS in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, earned in 2003.
