Lawrence Drewry

Lawrence Drewry serves as the Assistant General Counsel at HashiCorp since April 2018, specializing in commercial contract negotiation. Prior experience includes working as a Contract Negotiator at U.S. Bank from June 2016 to March 2018, where extensive work with technology vendors involved drafting and negotiating various agreements, including license and cloud agreements. Lawrence also held positions as a Law Clerk at Thrivent Financial from May 2012 to May 2016, conducting legal research across multiple disciplines, and as a Systems Analyst. Earlier roles include House Fellow at UW-Madison Housing, Security Services Technician at Schneider National, and Computer Support Technician with Interior Office Services. Lawrence holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Wisconsin Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
