Jannik Wempe

Jannik Wempe has a comprehensive work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2013, they worked as an intern at T-Systems UK. Jannik then pursued an integrated degree program at Deutsche Telekom from 2011 to 2014. Following that, Jannik worked as a research assistant at the Technical University of Braunschweig from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, they joined PPI AG - Consulting Banken as an IT Consultant, where they were involved in various projects such as business analyses, programming, and testing until 2019. From 2019 to 2020, Jannik worked as a Web Developer at Forschungsgruppe g/d/p, specializing in full-stack web development using JavaScript and Python, along with IT-related consulting. In 2020, they joined iteratec GmbH as a Software Engineer, eventually becoming a Senior Software Engineer until 2022. Currently, Jannik is working at Hashnode as a Senior Software Engineer and is also serving as a Platform Engineering Lead. Overall, Jannik has gained extensive experience in software engineering, web development, and IT consulting throughout their career.

Jannik Wempe holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Business Informatics from Technische Universität Braunschweig. Jannik attended the university from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Informatics from the University of Applied Sciences Leipzig, where they studied from 2011 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Jannik Wempe has obtained various certifications. Jannik completed the course "CS50W: CS50's Web Programming with Python and JavaScript" offered by HarvardX - An Online Learning Initiative by Harvard University through edX in April 2020. In March 2020, they also completed the course "CS50: CS50's Introduction to Computer Science" by the same institution. Furthermore, Jannik Wempe obtained the "AWS Certified Developer – Associate" certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2020.
