Mike Burns

Mike Burns has a varied work experience, beginning with their role as an Officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve from 2004 to 2011. From 2011 to 2016, they were a Managing Director at Alara Capital Partners. In 2016, they became a Co-founder and Investor of Net Nanny and Executive Chairman of iDEAL Semiconductor. In 2018, they became a Core Advisor at Gauss Ventures, a Board Member and CIO at HashWatt, Inc., and a Board Member and Advisor at Curve. In 2019, they became a Managing Director at Murray Hill Group and a Board Member at Curve. In 2020, they became an Advisory Board Member at Zilch. In 2021, they became a Board Member at SafeToNet.

Mike Burns attended The Wharton School where they obtained a BS in Finance and was a Ben Franklin Scholar. Mike also attended the Jerome Fisher M&T Program. Mike obtained a MSEE in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from the same institution.
