This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of our experienced team within a leading Letting and Estate Agency, based at our landmark Reading office. You will help us achieve this through great customer service and problem solving skills.

We have vacancies for both an entry level role and an experienced Property Manager. The entry level role will assist the Property Managers on our total portfolio of 1200 properties, whereas the more experienced role will take ownership of their own portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be an asset manager for our Landlord clients by looking after their properties

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with Landlords and Tenants

  • Ensure that all parties are communicated with effectively

  • Managing the tenancy journey from inventory, check in to check out, including accurate record keeping for utility changeovers

  • To keep and maintain accurate records within our chosen software

  • Control movement of keys and sign in/out keys to contractors along with tenant keys

  • Control the maintenance workflow from notification of a problem through to the invoice being paid and any guarantees being accurately recorded

  • To conduct or oversee regular property visits carried out by our dedicated inspection clerks and report to the landlord on the condition of the property

  • To ensure that check outs are processes in a timely manner to ensure deposits can be returned as quickly as possible

  • Following and working by industry legislation and best practice

Working pattern

  • Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:30pm

  • 5pm early finish on a Friday

Ideal qualification and requirements

  • Experience or interest in the Property industry

  • ARLA Propertymark technical award or equivalent desirable, but not essential. We will support you to gain your industry qualifications.

  • Full driving licence preferred
