Harold Dittmer

A 1962 Hastings College graduate, Harold Dittmer is founder, president and owner of Wellhead Electric Company based in Sacramento, California. The primary business of Wellhead and its affiliates is to develop, construct, and operate independent power generation plants and invest in related businesses. Wellhead has business activities throughout California and internationally.

Mr. Dittmer earned his MBA in finance and marketing from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. He worked as a management consultant for 15 years prior to founding Wellhead. He is active with Vistage, an international organization of CEO’s; the Hoover Institution; Independent Energy Producers; and Association of Energy Engineers.

Mr. Dittmer was elected to the Hastings College Board of Trustees in 1999 and served as Board Chair from 2004 to 2016. He chairs the Executive Committee and is an ex-officio member of all other Board committees and a director of the Hastings College Foundation.
