Founded in 1882, this private, four-year residential college is dedicated to high academic achievement, intellectual discovery and deliberate mentoring. 

With an enrollment of 1,100 students, Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska, features a multitude of student-centered initiatives. The board of directors at Hastings College has a long and varied history. The current president is a retired staff accountant and corporate controller, while the vice president is a revenue auditor. Other members have included a retirement consultant, president/owner of an industrial-irrigation services company, and a CPA. The board is well-educated, with degrees in art, journalism, business administration, psychology, accounting, mathematics, and diversified agriculture.
