Jon Nicholson, PhD, has an extensive education history in the field of Computer Science. Jon obtained a PhD in Computer Science (Formal Software Engineering) from the University of Essex from 2006 to 2011. Prior to their doctoral studies, they earned an MSc in Computer Science from the same institution in 2005 to 2006, followed by a BSc in Computer Science from 2002 to 2005. In 2012 to 2013, they pursued a Postgraduate Certificate (PGC) in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education at the University of Brighton. Additionally, Jon has obtained certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft and Developing Applications in IBM Datacap V9.1.7 from IBM in 2021.
