Tony Dench

Tony Dench has extensive experience in engineering and management roles, spanning over four decades. Currently serving as a Reticulation Engineer at Hastings District Council since August 1997, Tony also holds the position of Station Officer at New Zealand Fire Service, which has been maintained since 1985. Previous positions include Contract Manager at Serco Group NZ Ltd from July 1994 to August 1997 and Services Engineer at Central Hawkes Bay District Council from February 1979 to June 1994. Tony began their career as an Engineering Officer at the Ministry of Works from January 1972 to January 1979. Educationally, Tony completed studies at Palmerston North Boys High between 1968 and 1971, earning an ECT and NZCE in Civil Engineering Technology/Technician.
