Tom Harding has a diverse work experience, starting in 2009 as a music teacher at Daventry Music Centre. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a web developer at Bath SU, primarily focusing on front-end work and developing bespoke tools. In 2013, they joined Mayden as a software developer, working on a SaaS web app and gaining experience with legacy code management. From 2015 to 2017, they co-founded and worked at The Digital Natives, delivering consulting on marketing and web presence to charities and third-sector organizations. In 2016, Tom founded Wethersherbs Ltd, offering AI, machine learning, and development for web systems. At Habito, where they worked from 2017 to 2019, they served as a lead engineer, leading the customer-facing site team and writing Haskell and PureScript. In 2020, they joined CircuitHub as a software engineer and in 2022, they started working at Hasura as a senior software engineer.
Tom Harding earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Bath, which they attended from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Lawrence Sheriff School from 2009 to 2011 and Southam College from 2004 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Tom obtained a certification as a Zend Certified Engineer from Zend Technologies in November 2013.
