VP, Talent & Culture at HatchWorks

Trent Cotton is currently the Vice President, Talent & Culture at HatchWorks. Prior to joining HatchWorks, Trent served as the Vice President of Talent Acquisition, Retention & Analytics at Bureau Veritas Group from January 2021 to March 2022. In this role, Trent was responsible for innovation within the Talent Acquisition and Development initiatives for North America, including creating and executing a talent acquisition strategy to support a diverse workforce of top talent. Trent also led virtual and cross-functional teams to perform against strategic business goals, analyzed and assessed progress against talent strategies and key business initiatives, and built and managed a team of high-performing recruiters in a fast-paced, highly technical and competitive environment. Additionally, Trent created the HR Analytics function to provide leaders with in-depth analytics on their talent, including attrition, trend analysis, diversity and FTE to percentage capacity based on pending work orders.

Trent Cotton has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of South Alabama, a Master of Arts in Management with a concentration in Project Management from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Research from the University of South Alabama.

They work with Kathleen Wood - Director, HR, Adam Tichelaar - CTO, and Matt Paige - Senior Director, Business Development & Strategy. Their manager is Brandon Powell, Founder & CEO.
