Gilbert Cassar

Gilbert Cassar possesses extensive experience in IT and systems engineering, currently serving as the DevOps and DBA Team Lead at HAUD since August 2015, after progressing through roles as Senior Systems Engineer and DBA, and Infrastructure Engineer and DBA. Prior to this, Gilbert worked at the University of Malta from November 1999 to October 2015, where responsibilities included managing the Information Systems team and overseeing core services like mail, database, proxies, and VPN. Gilbert holds a Bachelor's degree in ICT and a Master's degree in Executive Masters in Business Administration, both obtained from the University of Malta.
