Shawn May

Shawn May has extensive experience in the art and medical sectors, currently serving as Gallery Manager at Hauser & Wirth since February 2019, with previous roles as Gallery Assistant, Executive Assistant, and Intern at the same organization. Prior to this, Shawn was a Gallery Assistant at Galerie Richard and a Desktop Support Technician at Weill Cornell Medicine. Experience also includes a Curatorial Intern position at Alfa Art Gallery, oversight responsibilities as Building Manager at Rutgers University, and a Summer Intern role in IT at Weill Cornell Medical College. Early career experience includes a File Clerk position at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Shawn holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Art History from Rutgers University - Newark and a high school diploma in Media Communications from Brooklyn Technical High School.
