Diana Schmidt, MS, CPCU, ACI, CRIS, AU, AIC, ARe, has served as Principal at Hausmann Group since June 2017, where Diana has been recognized as a BizTimes Notable Woman in Insurance in both 2021 and 2023. With a strong focus on Property & Casualty insurance, Diana specializes in consulting for manufacturers and technology companies, managing risk costs through advanced programs such as high deductibles and captives. Prior to their current role, Diana was an Account Executive Officer at Travelers from August 2007 to June 2017 and an Underwriter III at Liberty Mutual Insurance from May 2002 to August 2007. Diana holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Legal Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master of Science in Insurance Management from Boston University, in addition to an Associate in Captive Insurance from the International Center for Captive Insurance Education.
