Jennifer Micieli

Jennifer Micieli has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2009, they started their career as an intern at Yeske Buie, where they prepared financial plans, managed client relationships, and completed various ad hoc projects. Jennifer then progressed to become an Associate Financial Planner and Media Administrator, directly assisting the CEO and Managing Director, preparing comprehensive financial plans, and training interns. Jennifer also worked as a Financial Planner and Media Administrator at Yeske Buie, where they prepared advanced financial plans, reviewed investment accounts, and managed and wrote planning-focused articles.

In 2014, Jennifer worked at Credit Karma as a Marketplace Insights Manager, where they helped define and execute product initiatives, documented financial guidance, and wrote informative articles. Jennifer then briefly worked as a Financial Expert at Credit Karma, focusing on credit and personal finance topics.

As a UX Research & Design Freelancer from 2017 to 2020, Jennifer provided user-centered solutions and services to clients. Jennifer joined MeasuringU as a UX Researcher in February 2021 and worked until August 2021. At MeasuringU, they conducted user research to improve user experiences.

Currently, Jennifer is employed at Haven as a Lead UX Researcher. Jennifer joined in September 2021 and is involved in qualitative and quantitative user research. In 2023, they transitioned to the role of Product Strategist at Haven, where they utilize their previous experiences to shape product strategies.

Jennifer also pursued postgraduate studies at Kingston University, where they developed practical knowledge in user-centered design, prototyping, and usability testing.

Jennifer Micieli pursued their Master of Science degree in User Experience Design from Kingston University during the period of 2018 to 2019. Prior to this, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics with an option in Financial Planning from Virginia Tech between 2005 and 2009.
