Robert Seward

Robert Seward has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Starting with IBM in 1987 as a Systems Engineer, they went on to work as a Consultant for Wal-Mart, leading migration projects and achieving significant improvements in processing efficiency. Robert then joined Discover and SPS Payment Systems as a System Architect. Later, at Alliance Data, they served as a Systems Architect, leading the design and delivery of a transaction processing engine. At Walgreens, Robert held various positions, including Lead Infrastructure Architect and Lead Cloud/Infrastructure Architect, where they led teams in defining overall cloud strategies and delivering critical infrastructure projects. Their responsibilities also included mentoring and growing technical teams. Currently, at HAVI, Robert holds the position of Senior Director Enterprise Cloud Architecture.

Robert Seward attended Pathfinder School in Traverse City, Michigan from 1979 to 1983, where they focused on Mathematics and Computer Science. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at Clarkson University from 1983 to 1987. In 2015, they obtained a certification in Git Fundamentals from Pluralsight.
