Malia de Leon Shrm-Cp

Malia De Leon, SHRM-CP, PHR, has extensive experience in human resources management. Malia began their career as a Human Resources Manager at Warner Music Group in 2006, where they managed the daily operations of the Global Human Resources department, developed a team, and oversaw employee leave of absences programs, payroll processes, and performance management. In 2013, they became the Director of Human Resources at the Hawaii Convention Center, where they were responsible for managing all HR functions, including talent management, benefits, compensation, organizational development, employee relations, compliance, employee engagement, community outreach, and safety. Malia also effectively managed the HR budget, worked with the Finance team on reforecasting, and implemented HR systems to streamline processes.

Malia De Leon, SHRM-CP, PHR graduated from Mills College in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.
