Lead Clinical Applications Analyst Device Integration at Hawai'i Pacific Health

Ryan Heiligenthal, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Ryan has held various roles, starting from their early career as a Clinical Information Specialist at the Center for Comprehensive Services. Ryan then worked as a Contract Technician at LA Services and Harrisburg Medical Center before joining Insight Global and MurTech Consulting as a Contract Technician.

In 2011, Ryan joined UST Global as a Contractor - Infrastructure Technology, and later also joined SFC Fluidics as a Sales Support Manager. During their time at SFC Fluidics, they focused on brand development, web traffic growth, and developing new revenue streams.

Ryan then ventured into entrepreneurship, starting their own business called Xpress Branding in 2011. At Xpress Branding, they assisted small businesses in designing a complete company identity at an affordable rate, using open-source programs.

In 2014, Ryan joined Olympic Medical Center as an Applications System Project Lead, where they managed projects and ensured their timeliness and resolution. Ryan then took on the role of Sr. Applications Analyst, where they continued to lead projects, performed fault diagnosis, and managed vendors.

Currently, Ryan is working at Hawaii Pacific Health as a Lead Clinical Applications Analyst Device Integration. In this role, they act as a project manager and lead for the Applications team. Ryan coordinates with the applications analyst to ensure project schedules, resolves issues, and addresses concerns. Additionally, they provide internal customer computer application support, performs needs assessments, and recommends solutions. Ryan also manages large and complex projects that involve multiple departments and entities, handles vendor management, and takes responsibility for issue diagnosis, support, and vendor response management. Ryan is also in charge of creating documentation, establishing procedures, workflows, and system backup and recovery processes.

Ryan Heiligenthal, MBA completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Leadership and Organizational Management at Harding University from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from DeVry University, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Ryan also earned an Associates degree in Computer Science from New Mexico State University-Dona Ana between 2004 and 2006. Additionally, Ryan obtained the TestOutPC Pro Certification from TestOut Corporation in November 2013.
