Brian Sims

Brian Sims is an experienced professional in recruitment and training within the education and financial sectors. Currently serving as a Recruiter for Classified/Support Services Personnel at the Hawaii State Department of Education since July 2023, Brian is responsible for recruiting for a vast array of positions within the department. Prior to this role, Brian held leadership positions in the Office of Talent Management at the Hawaii Department of Education, overseeing training programs for over 10,000 classified employees from April 2016 to September 2023. Brian's experience also includes serving as Operations Manager Executive Underwriting at Title Guaranty, as well as various roles in recruitment and training at American Savings Bank, NCBS, and the National Bank of Commerce. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Arkansas, earned between 1985 and 1990.
