Brett Freels

Brett Freels has extensive experience in aviation, currently serving as an A321 and B717 First Officer at Hawaiian Airlines since November 2017. Prior to this role, Brett dedicated over 21 years to the U.S. Coast Guard, where responsibilities included piloting the C-37 aircraft for high-level operations, managing flight operations for personnel training and administration, and leading a team in safety management. Brett's aviation training began with the U.S. Navy Flight School, completing both primary and advanced training on various aircraft. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, supplemented by safety training at the Southern California Safety Institute and a Bachelor's degree in Professional Aeronautics.
