Anthony Hong

Anthony Hong has a strong background in the energy industry, with a career spanning over 25 years. Anthony began their career in 1994 as the Vice President of Factory Operation at Pioneer Mill Company Ltd. In 2000, they moved on to become the Executive Vice President at A&B Hawaii, Hawaiian DuraGreen. In 2002, they joined A&B Hawaii, HC&S as the Manager of Electrical and Control. After seven years, Anthony joined Hawaiian Electric Company as the Senior Power Supply Supervising Engineer and later became the Principal Distribution Planning. Currently, they hold the position of Director in the Customer Installation Division at Hawaiian Electric Company. Throughout their career, Anthony has gained extensive experience in various departments, including Planning and Design, Customer Engineering and Project Management, Meter Engineering & Services, and Customer Installation Administration.

Anthony Hong attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Anthony also pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSEE) degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering during the same period at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and McKinley High School.
