Dave Okamura

Dave Okamura has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Dave started their career as an Electrical Engineer at Harold H Miura, Inc. in 1992. Dave then joined Hawaii Electric Light Company in 1993, where they held various roles including Assistant Technical Superintendent, Technical Superintendent, Manager of the Engineering Department, and finally Director of Engineering. In 2020, they transitioned to Hawaiian Electric, where they are currently serving as the Director of Engineering.

Dave Okamura holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California. Dave also obtained a Master of Business Administration degree in Business from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
