POSITION SUMMARY:     Guided by the Field Sales Manager – Hawaii, the Sales Merchandiser is responsible for stocking, maintaining, and monitoring all aspects of merchandising for the sales department, while also serving as a liaison between the Company and our customers. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Utilizes personal vehicle to merchandise products at designated locations.
  • Stocks, maintains, and monitors all aspects of merchandising, including stocking customer shelves, ensuring proper product placement, rotation, and pricing, as well as setting up displays.
  • Assists the sales team with their accounts and coordinates their own work duties.
  • Accurately maintains a work log that accounts for activities and driving time between accounts.
  • Maintains good relationships with store management and associates by providing regular service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Works independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Assists with schematic resets and participates in other sales activities and projects.
  • Performs work in a clean, neat, and safe manner.
  • Carries out all duties and upholds all standards in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
  • Regular attendance is required for the position.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experiencerequired.
  • At least one (1) year of merchandising or related work experience.
  • Must have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
  • Associate Degree in a business-related field is preferred.

  • The position requires visiting/working at different worksites; talking to co-workers and outside trade persons/vendors; written communication to co-workers and outside persons/vendors; responding to written or verbal requests of co-workers and vendors; reading; composing written language; receiving verbal instructions.
