Chris Reed has extensive experience in planning and education, currently serving as a Senior Planner (Strategic Development) at Hawkes Bay Regional Council since December 2007, focusing on the Mohaka Catchment Plan Change and collaborative stakeholder engagement. Since June 2014, Chris has been working as an OMF (NZ) Candidate for OMF International, pursuing overseas missions. Previous roles include Minerals and Waste Policy Planner at Devon County Council and Planning Assistant at Scott Wilson, alongside teaching English and life skills to asylum seekers and refugees at Open Doors and Plymouth College for Further Education. Chris holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Environmental Management from the University of Plymouth and various teaching and planning qualifications from institutions including the University of Wales, Cardiff.
