Mina Shawky

Mina Shawky has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Mina is currently working at HawkEye 360 as a Senior Space Systems Engineer, where they began in January 2023. Prior to this, Mina held the position of Product Manager/Sr. Engineer at the same company starting in May 2023. Before joining HawkEye 360, they worked as a Space Systems Engineer from May 2021 to January 2023.

In 2020, Mina co-founded RefiBot and served in the role of Co-Founder from March to September. Mina also gained experience as a Hardware Engineering Intern at Northrop Grumman from June to August.

Mina's work experience includes positions as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Center for Power Electronics Systems from February 2019 to August 2020, as well as an Electrical Engineering Intern at VPT, Inc. from August to November 2019. Mina also worked as an Applications Engineering Intern at Texas Instruments from May to August 2019.

Earlier in their career, Mina served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Advanced Biomanufacturing & Biosensing Laboratory from November 2018 to May 2019. Mina interned as a Software Intern at Immix Concepts from July to October 2018 and worked as a STEM Intern at NOVA SySTEMic from May to August 2018.

Mina's earliest professional experience was as a Mathematics Tutor at Northern Virginia Community College from September 2017 to August 2018, demonstrating their strong academic background in mathematics.

Mina Shawky has a diverse education history. In 2023, they will be completing a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Virginia Tech. Prior to this, from 2018 to 2020, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from the Virginia Tech College of Engineering. In 2018, they had a brief experience studying Global Engineering at Virginia Tech. Earlier, from 2017 to 2018, they pursued an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Northern Virginia Community College.

In addition to their formal education, Mina has obtained certifications in Accounting Foundations from LinkedIn in July 2021, and Sales: Closing Strategies from LinkedIn in September 2020.
