Christopher Ackman

Christopher Ackman has had a varied career in media and communications. Starting in 2009, they served as the Owner of Christopher Lee Media. In 2012, they worked as a Student News Anchor & Reporter at Kirkwood Student Productions. In 2013, they were a Worship Producer at First Lutheran Church. In 2014, they took on the role of Information & Visitor Center Specialist at the Cedar Rapids Tourism Office, where they collaborated with city businesses and business leaders producing the CVB's various video projects while promoting the city of Cedar Rapids through designing graphics for cedar-rapids.com and operating the weekend Visitor Center assisting tourists and locals. In 2015, they worked as both a Communications & Volunteer Manager at Hawkeye Area Community Action Program, Inc. and as a Production Assistant at Sinclair Broadcast Group.

Christopher Ackman attended Kirkwood Community College from 2012 to 2015, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) in Liberal Arts: Communication Studies. In July 2021, they obtained a Certified Alaska Expert certification from the Alaska Travel Industry Association.
