Allegra Willder

Architect at Hawkins Brown Architects

Allegra initially joined Hawkins\Brown as a Part 1, then re-joined as a Part 2 after graduating from the Bartlett School of Architecture.

Allegra spent the last year of her master's designing public shelters in South Korea, with her thesis comparing several environmental infrastructure projects in Seoul with Western examples, such as the Highline in New York. This research has contributed to her design work, in which she tries to challenge the Western perception of public space.

Allegra uses most of her time outside of the office to paint portraits of her family and friends, and was a contestant on Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year 2020.
