Varsha Raji

Architectural Assistant at Hawkins Brown Architects

Varsha joined Hawkins\Brown as a Part 2 after graduating with her Masters in Architecture. Her thesis project, ‘The Garden City of Kensington & Chelsea,’ explored a new counter mode of habitation to reclaim the city's right, which led to her interest in the regeneration of cities.

Before joining Hawkins\Brown, Varsha gained valuable experience working on large-scale residential and commercial projects as an architectural assistant at Midgard. In addition, Varsha has some experience working in the Middle East as she worked on the City Walk project in Dubai, including the construction of multiple low and medium-rise residential buildings, which gave her insights into the construction process behind a design project.

Varsha is a keen mentor and has supported first and second-year BA Hons Architecture design studios while studying for her master's degree. She has also mentored design and well-being workshops run between 2nd-year Medical Students at Imperial College London and collaborated with Architecture and Interior students from the University of Westminster.

Outside of work, Varsha enjoys exploring new places, trying out new recipes, and getting lost in fictional books.
