Max Bailey

Max Bailey is an experienced football operations professional currently serving as the GM Football Operations at Hawthorn Football Club since January 2023. Previously, Max held key roles at Bunnings as a Talent & Organisational Development Advisor and Learning Advisor from October 2020 to December 2022. With a strong coaching background, Max was the Senior Coach at Box Hill Hawks Football Club from November 2018 to October 2020, and a Development Coach at both Hawthorn Football Club (2016-2020) and Richmond Football Club (2013-2015), focusing on the development and mentoring of players. Max's career in sports began as a Professional Football Player for Hawthorn Football Club from 2005 to 2013. Additionally, Max has facilitated educational programs for high school students through Leading Teams. Max holds an MBA from Swinburne University of Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, and HRM from Monash University.
