Jim Stewart

Jim Stewart is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in underwriting and credit assessment. Currently serving as a Senior Underwriter at Haydock Finance Ltd since October 2024 and as a Non Executive Director at Scandinavian Village Ltd since October 2023, Jim has effectively contributed to both finance and hospitality sectors. Prior experience includes roles as a Credit Assessment Team Leader at Softcat plc, Divisional Underwriter at Braemar Finance, and an Underwriter at Barclays Partner Finance, where a diverse range of credit decisions were made across various products. Jim began their academic journey at King's Park Secondary School and later earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Glasgow Caledonian University between 2000 and 2004.
