Jamie Marks has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. They started their career as a Head Camp Counselor at Fort Lauderdale Aquatics in 2011, where they were responsible for teaching swim lessons, supervising campers, and managing counselors. In 2012, Jamie served as an Assistant Coach at Swim Fort Lauderdale Masters and as an Event/Marketing Intern for the American Swimming Coaches Association, where they worked on planning and executing events at the Olympic Swimming Trials.
Jamie then joined Gulliver Schools as an Assistant Aquatics Director, coaching swimmers of various ages and abilities while promoting the swim team and swim programs to Miami residents. They also worked as a Public Relations/Social Media Intern at Beber Silverstein Group, supporting public relations and social media clients and creating content for various platforms.
In 2015, Jamie became a Contributor for Florida Swim Network, writing feature articles and reporting on swim competitions. They later became an Executive Assistant to the CMO & CEO at Handtevy - Pediatric Emergency Standards, Inc. in 2016, where they acted as a liaison between the CMO/CEO and EMS and hospital leadership, managed course administration and marketing, and assisted in email marketing and press release design.
Jamie's most recent role was at Hayes Locums, where they started as a Sales Assistant and progressed to Client Relations Specialist, Customer Success Manager, and later, Enterprise Account Manager. Currently, they serve as the Director of Strategic Accounts.
Jamie Marks completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Journalism from the University of Arkansas, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. They then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Communication and Media Studies at Lynn University from 2015 to 2016.
